FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has landed Prosper (Texas) four-star offensive lineman Bryce Gilmore one day after he completed an official visit to Arkansas.
Gilmore, 6-5, 295, chose the Hogs over other finalists Arizona State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Texas Tech. Gilmore was leaning to Arkansas before the visit, but that sealed it with him. He announced his decision on 247Sports live. The original plan was to announce on July 3 his birthday.
“It went great with the visit,” Gilmore said. “I still love the culture and everything. Love meeting the players because you learn everything new from the players because they always tell the truth when it comes with the players. Like everyone around here is actually real family. Fayetteville is a great place to be.”
Gilmore is the fourth offensive line pledge in the Class of 2026. He credited Sam Pittman and Eric Mateos for the atmosphere at Arkansas among the offensive linemen.
“The main reasons are Mateos, Pittman and the culture and also the players too because like sometimes you go to a place and some of their best players and starters don’t want to hang with you and get to know you and actually tell you stuff about Arkansas,” Gilmore said. “These players recruited me too. That means a lot to me.”
Current Razorback Corey Robinson II recruited Gilmore.
