
Arkansas sending dozen Diamond Hogs to top Summer League sites

FAYETTEVILLE – The 2025 college baseball season may be over, but at least 12 current Arkansas players will be on the diamond competitively this summer.
That includes four Razorbacks among the 56 players that were invited to USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Camp beginning Sunday in Kannapolis, N.C.
Arkansas catcher Ryder Helfrick, infielder Cam Kozeal and pitchers Gabe Gaeckle and Cole Gibler are there Razorbacks who will participate in five USA intersquad games June 29-July 3.
The roster will be cut down after those games with those selected competing in the USA vs. Japan Collegiate All-Star Series July 8-13 at various locations at across Japan.
The players who do not make the top roster will play a July 4th exhibition against the Appalachian League Select Team at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis at 6:35 p.m. ET.
There will also be four Arkansas players at the Cape Cod Baseball League, which began its season back on June 14 and will continue through August 11.
Razorback designated hitter/outfielder Kuhio Aloy and pitcher Colin Fisher will play for the Cape Cod League’s Bourne Braves with both being activated on Thursday.
Hunter Deitz is set to pitch onthe Cape for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks while Tate McGuire will be on the mound for the Wareham Gatemen for a second straight summer.
Arkansas redshirt freshman outfielder Brenton Clark and pitcher Steele Eaves and infielder-pitcher Tyler Holland will all play in the California Collegiate League.
Clark and Eaves will both play for Santa Barbara Foresters while Holland is on the Orange County Riptide roster.
Arkansas catcher Carson Willis is playing for the Liberal (Kan.) Bee Jays of the Rocky Mountain Colorado Collegiate Baseball League.
