Arkansas softball earns five seed at 2025 SEC softball tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following the conclusion of the 2025 regular season for Arkansas softball, Courtney Deifel’s squad is officially the five seed in the SEC Tournament in Athens next week.

After finishing the regular season with a record of 38-11 and finishing 14-10 in conference play, the Hogs will get a first round bye and start their hunt for an SEC title on Wednesday. They’ll face the winner of the 12-seed Georgia and 13-seed Kentucky.

If the Hogs get past the second round, that would set them up for a matchup against four seed Tennessee on Thursday in the quarterfinals.

All games will be played at Jack Turner Stadium in Athens, Ga.
