FAYETTEVILLE — Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton Class of 2025 three-star edge Caleb Bell was impressed with what Arkansas had to offer this weekend during his official visit.

Bell, 6-3, 270, is closing in on a decision. Arkansas has hosted several defensive linemen for official visits. Following the Arkansas trip, Bell talked about what impressed him.

“It was fun,” Bell said. “It was good being back down here seeing everything a little bit more and spend time with the coaches and players.”

Bell talked about what he felt was the highlight of the visit.

“The campus really and the team,” Bell said. “I could see myself being here and it’s very likable and enjoyable at Arkansas.”

Bell has narrowed his decision down to three schools. He talked about Arkansas’ standing following the visit.

“It went up a lot,” Bell said. “I was already considering them in my top three, top five and just coming back and seeing everything made me see how I can fit here. Obviously I’m going to go back and talk to my parents before I make my decision but it made it really high.”

Bell listed the three schools still on his list and all hoping to land a pledge from him.

“I took one to NC State before this and I’m going to go and take one to visit Mississippi State.” Bell said. “After that, I’ll make my decision maybe the end of June.”

If Arkansas reels in a pledge from Bell then Deke Adams, Arkansas’ defensive line coach, will be one of the main reasons why.

“It’s good, of course he reached out to me when he offered,” Bell said. “We’ve been keeping in steady contact and still talking with each other and building the relationship. Seeing him and his players and see how much they interact with him and see how they respect him. It means a lot.”

Bell said the visit gave him a chance to learn more about the Razorbacks and how it would be if he chose to come there.

“I guess the vibe down here,” Bell said. “Because there’s not really any pro teams in Arkansas. There’s a lot of passionate people here and obviously passionate about their team. It’s a lot of fun being down here.”

As a junior, Bell had 75 tackles, 10 for loss, 17 quarterback hurries, 8.5 sacks, one pass breakup and an interception. His father, Kendrell Bell, played linebacker at Georgia and was drafted in Round 2 by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2001. Kendrell went on to be the 2001 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
