FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – On this month’s Courtney’s Community Hogs, our Courtney Mims highlights the work that former Razorback and now Arkansas assistant softball coach Danielle Gibson Whorton is doing to help one community.

She partnered with Wilson to make a custom glove to raise money for Autism Speaks, a non-profit organization that does autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public.

“It’s not every day you get to play for something bigger than yourself. And so I wanted to make sure I incorporated something that allowed me to stay grounded in my profession. And I’m and I’m really grateful for it. It’s a win win situation, and it’s a really, really cool glove. And it’s for a really, really cool cause,” Danielle said.

You can see the full segment in the video next to the headline at the top of the page.

If you would like to purchase the glove, you can do so right here.

Courtney’s Community Hogs airs on Tuesday nights each month on KNWA and KARK.
