FAYETTEVILLE — David Oke has signed with Arkansas on Friday choosing the Hogs over USC, North Carolina, Texas Tech, Rutgers and others.

Oke, 6-2, 290, took an official visit to Arkansas earlier in the week. He told Hogville why he chose the Razobacks.

“They care about their players,” Oke said. “Most people think of it as business, but they take it as relationships because football will eventually end.”

In 2024, Oke had 64 tackles, 22 solo, 2 pass breakups, 2 sacks and 1 forced fumble.

Deke Adams, Arkansas’ defensive line coach, was a big reason for Oke choosing the Hogs too.

“A great dude,” Oke said. “When we talked on the phone the next time we face timed. He definitely wanted to see my face. He wanted to get that face-to-face connection. When I landed at the airport he wanted to take care of me and my girlfriend. He wanted the best for both of us.”
