FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is busy hosting official visitors each day this week and trying to restock the roster.

The Razorbacks have sent out at several offers to prospects in the transfer portal. At least 19 offers at time of this story had been confirmed though more likely had been extended. The Hogs will host a big-time recruit they didn’t land last season on Thursday when Oregon offensive tackle JacQawn McRoy, 6-8, 375, will arrive in Fayetteville.

McRoy is a four-star recruit who played his high school football at Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville. He redshirted at Oregon this season and will have four years of eligibility beginning this fall. McRoy was one of Arkansas’ priority recruits last year and now the Hogs will get a second chance to land this talented offensive tackle. McRoy will reportedly leave on Friday.

Arkansas is hosting Northwest Missouri State tight end Zach Atkins, 6-3, 245, and Fresno State wide receiver Raylen Sharpe, 5-9, 165, today and Friday for official visits. Both have several offers. Atkins caught 18 passes for 179 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. Sharpe was 1 of 1 passing for a 26-yard touchdown. He rushed 4 times for 67 yards. He caught 51 passes for 523 yards and 3 touchdowns. He played for Bobby Petrino and Ronnie Fouch previously at Missouri State.

It’s also known that Arkansas will host North Texas wide receiver DT Sheffield, 5-10, 170, and Texas A&M tight end Jaden Platt, 6-5, 260, this weekend. Platt played for Bobby Petrino at A&M in 2023. Sheffield caught 66 passes for 822 yards and 11 touchdowns this season from quarterback Chandler Morris. He also rushed 4 times for 86 yards and 1 touchdown.

Former Baylor offensive tackle Alvin Ebosele, 6-6, 312, has the Hogs down as one of his four visits. He was recruited to Baylor by Eric Mateos and played for him in 2023 before the offensive line coach departed for Arkansas.

On Wednesday morning, Arkansas extended an offer to UConn running back Durell Robinson, 6-1, 210, who is a former four-star recruit in high school. As a freshman at UConn this season, Robinson rushed 107 times for 731 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also grabbed 14 passes for 75 yards.

Northwest Mississippi Community College cornerback Keshawn Davila, 6-1, 170, completed his official visit to Arkansas on Wednesday morning. He was impressed and said if he chooses Arkansas it will be because of Sam Pittman. He will announce Thursday between Arkansas, Virginia Tech and UCLA. He’s the No. 2 junior college player regardless of position and No. 1 cornerback in the Class of 2025. This season, Davila had 25 tackles, 20 solo, 1 tackle for loss, 3 interceptions and 7 pass breakups.
