FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has landed former Georgia Tech offensive lineman Corey Robinson II who is the No. 2 at his position in the transfer portal.

Robinson, 6-5, 305, chose the Hogs over Oklahoma and Texas Tech. He took an official visit to Arkansas earlier this week and watched a bowl practice. He liked the opportunity offered him at Arkansas.

“For sure, I would love to come in and compete with these guys,” Robinson said. “I definitely see an opportunity to grow here, for sure.”

Sam Pittman and Eric Mateos made a strong impression on Robinson.

“Really, it was a really solid visit, but just explaining how they could help me become the best version of myself on the field from a football perspective, it’s big for me,” Robinson said. “Learning different techniques, seeing different techniques and tells and showing — we were talking to Coach Pittman and he was saying what he sees in my game that he can improve, that really caught my attention.”

Robinson is the seventh recruit from the portal to ink with the Hogs.
