Hogs set to host talented prospects for Picnic on Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE — The Razorbacks are set to host a talented group of recruits on Saturday for a cookout and picnic with the 2024 season drawing near.

A mixture of commitments and prospects who are still looking for a college will be on hand for this year’s event. The Hogs currently have approximately 25 prospects planning to attend. More will likely opt to come before the end of the week.

Among the commitments slated to be in attendance are Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace, 6-1, 218, Conway three-star quarterback Grayson Wilson, 6-3, 205, and Warren wide receiver Antonio Jordan, 6-5, 230.

Durant (Okla.) Class of 2026 four-star defensive end Colton Yarbrough, 6-5, 242, is among the top recruits who haven’t committed anywhere slated to be at Arkansas on Saturday. He was present at last year’s event and has family ties to Arkansas.

Allen (Texas) Class of 2026 wide receiver Caleb “The Jet” Smith, 5-9, 160, can absolutely fly and holds offers from Arkansas as well and others. He has turned in a 10.35 100-meter dash. He holds double-digit offers. Arkansas, with its track program, is one of the schools to watch for Smith.

Another interesting prospect visiting for the picnic is Ruston (La.) Class of 2025 three-star cornerback Aidan Anding, 5-11, 170. He took an official visit to Arkansas the June 14-16 weekend. Texas, Miami and TCU have also gotten official visits from Anding. Arkansas recently picked up a pledge from a cornerback and is hoping to add another from the high school ranks in this class.
