FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has landed former Cincinnati defensive back Jordan Young.

In 2024, Young, 6-0, 197, had 35 tackles, 19 solo and 5 pass breakups. He played cornerback for the Bearcats, but can play anywhere in the secondary.

“I’m going to be all over the secondary,” Young said.

Young told Hogville why he chose the Razorbacks.

“Because I feel like this would be the best school to develop me as a player and a person for the next level,” Young said. “That’s what I’m looking for in my school. So that would be my reasoning.”

He chose the Hogs over Kansas. The official visit earlier this week sold him on the Hogs.

“I love the visit, love the coaching staff,” Young said. “Love the environment and the people. The city, I’m loving it. The highlight of my trip was pretty much the coaching staff from the head coach on down. Good people. I like the vision.”
