FAYETTEVILLE — Theodore (Ala.) 4-star linebacker Jaden “JJ” Bush was one of 10 official visitors to Arkansas this weekend.

Bush, 6-3, 210, has around 30 scholarship offers. The Hogs managed to get one of his official visits. He talked about how the visit went for him.

“It was great coming to Fayetteville for the third time in my recruiting process,” Bush said. “I like the people around here. The players get along. It’s a culture of banding together. It’s small town just like Mobile but it’s better than Mobile. Like everybody comes together as a whole and as a family outside of football so I like that. Inside of football, the coaches are going to make sure your straight. It’s just like a brotherhood and like a father figure and mentor.”

Bush named the coaches that make it seem like a father figure.

“Coach Pitt (Sam Pittman) and coach T-Wiill (Travis Williams) and coach Marcus Woodson,” Bush said. “I’ve been talking to those guys for a minute. My mom knows coach Marcus Woodson. She knows she can leave her child when she drops me off for college so that would be a good thing.”

Bush will choose from Arkansas, LSU, Missouri and Cincinnati and has set a commitment date.

“It did well,” Bush said of Arkansas visit. “I’ll make my decision July 2. So the Razorbacks stand high right here and we’ll see July 2.”

Bush added what he considered the highlight of the Arkansas visit.

“Just going to the position meeting as I talked to Twill,” Bush said. “He didn’t show any highlights. He showed me what I could do better and what I need to work on during my senior season so it was great.”
