LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas freshman wing Karter Knox is set to withdraw from the 2025 NBA Draft and return to the Hoop Hogs for his sophomore season in 2025-26.
Knox (6-6 wing) started in 24 of the 36 games he played in during the 2024-25 season, averaging 24.0 minutes per outing.
He averaged 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assist while shooting 46.2% from the field, including 35-of-100 from 3 for 35.0%, and 80.2% from the free throw line for an Arkansas team (22-14 overall, 9-11 vs. SEC teams) that won 7 of its last 10 games including a run to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen.
In the second half of the season — his final 18 games — Knox averaged 10.4 points per contest while shooting 53.8% overall from the field, including 20-of-46 from 3 for 43.5%, and 80.3% from the free throw line.
Knox originally committed to Kentucky in the spring of 2024 before following head coach John Calipari to Arkansas in the offseason.
He has three seasons of remaining collegiate playing eligibility.
Knox was a top 25-rated prospect — a 5-star recruit — and a McDonald’s All American coming out of Overtime Elite in 2024.
