FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has 19 commitments for the Class of 2026 and Sam Pittman appears to be on his way to the best high school recruiting class in several years.

The class has a little of everything, but does need a running back as well as help at most other spots. Some of those solutions will come from the transfer portal, but Bryant running back TJ Hodges is among the visitors this weekend. The Hogs and Missouri are among the schools battling for him. The Razorbacks have also hosted running backs the previous two weekends.

Here’s a look at this week’s visitors which includes four commitments.

Jaivion Martin, TE, 6-4, 245, Pflugerville, Texas

One of the best tight ends in the nation. Committed to the Razorbacks on May 2. He attended a camp at Arkansas prior to his junior season and obviously impressed Morgan Turner, the Hogs outstanding tight end coach. As a junior, Martin caught 51 passes for 804 yards and 11 touchdowns. In spot duty on defense, Martin had eight tackles and a sack.

TJ Hodges, RB, 6-1, 185, Bryant

A very talented running back who played at Marked Tree last season. Missouri and Hogs in the hunt here along with numerous others. Consensus 4-star recruit. Arkansas doesn’t have a running back in this class and to land Hodges would be extremely great get. At Marked Tree last season rushed 156 times for 1,752 yards and 22 touchdowns. Caught 10 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

Ashley Walker, OL, 6-7, 290, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna, Fla.

Committed to the Hogs on May 28. Eric Mateos is putting together a very good recruiting class for offensive linemen. Georgia, Kentucky and Ole Miss from the SEC are among his other offers. Arkansas really likes him.

Jordan Harris, Edge, 6-7, 225, Maumelle

Talented basketball player as well. Camped at Arkansas prior to junior season and pulled in an offer from the Hogs. Could even play tight end, but Hogs like him for Deke Adams at the edge. Has offers from such schools as Ole Miss, Missouri, Mississippi State, Purdue, SMU, Houston and others.

Keivay Foster, S, 6-3, 188, Muscle Shoals, Ala.

Offers from such schools as Mississippi State and Missouri. I really like this tall, rangy safety. A commitment could come from him this weekend or in coming days.

Braxton Lindsey, LB, 6-3, 234, Rogers

This is one of the best athletes not just in Arkansas but in the nation. Some schools love him at tight end while others prefer him at linebacker. The Hogs want him for defense. This could come down to Hogs, Oklahoma or Missouri. Has a long list of offers. As a junior, playing an average of just 15 snaps a game on defense he had 28 tackles, five for loss, nine sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles and pair of pass breakups. On offense, Lindsey caught 62 passes for 1,139 yards and 14 touchdowns.
