FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A documentary about Razorback men’s basketball coach John Calipari is in the works at Vice Media, according to a report from Deadline.
Deadline said Calipari: Razor’s Edge, set to premiere in February 2025 ahead of the NCAA Tournament, will be an “intimate, all-access look” at Calipari’s first season at Arkansas and the winding road that took him there after notable stops at UMass, Kentucky, Memphis and the NBA’s New Jersey Nets.
Vice Media is set to release another documentary about St. John’s University men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino in February called Pitino: Red Storm Rising.

The Calipari documentary will be produced with Omaha Productions, a production company owned by NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
Manning said his production team is “excited” to be working with Vice on the project.
“We expect this series to be the first of many future collaborations between Omaha and Vice as the company expands into more sports content,” Manning said to Deadline.
No further details were released about the documentary.
