FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Arkansas assistant coach Deron Wilson is reportedly leaving the Hogs to become Georgia State’s next defensive coordinator, according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports.

Wilson spent the last two years at Arkansas coaching the secondary.

Before joining Sam Pittman’s staff, Wilson worked a season at Florida as a quality control analyst working with the Gators’ cornerbacks.

Prior to the stint with the Gators, he was the defensive coordinator at McNeese for two seasons.

Before the bowl game, Sam Pittman said he didn’t expect any staff changes.
