Tickets now on sale for first-ever game between Hogs and Red Wolves at War Memorial Stadium

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Tickets are now available for the inaugural in-state meeting between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Arkansas State Red Wolves on the gridiron.

War Memorial Stadium said in a post on social media Monday that tickets for the historic Sept. 6 contest were now on sale.

When the game was first announced in 2021, Razorbacks Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek expressed the importance of the school’s annual visit to the capital city.

“The Razorback program belongs to our entire state and as we have shown in many of our sports, it is important that we continue to maintain a presence in central Arkansas,” Yuracheck said.

Former Red Wolves Athletic Director Terry Mohajir also expressed excitement at the time about the future matchup.

“I’m happy the two FBS university football teams in our great state of Arkansas will have an opportunity to participate in a regional matchup at War Memorial Stadium in our capital city of Little Rock,” he said in a release.

A look ahead at sporting events to watch in the Natural State in 2025

This first meeting between the two schools on the football field has been hoped for by fans for years, even prompting state legislators to introduce a bill in 2001 as an attempt to get them to play each other in an annual contest.
