WATCH: Coach Calipari recaps 76-52 loss at No. 1 Tennessee

Knoxville, TN (KNWA/KFTA) – Coach Calipari met with the media following No. 23 Arkansas’ 76-52 loss at No. 1 Tennessee.

An Adou Thiero jumper game Arkansas a 12-9 lead with 14:23 remaining in the first half. Over the next eight minutes, Arkansas managed just three points and Tennessee took a 25-15 lead.

Tennessee took a 42-27 advantage into the halftime break and never looked back en route to the 76-52 final.

Rebounding, or a lack thereof was the story of the game for Arkansas. Tennessee outrebounded the Hogs 51-29 and the Vols grabbed 24 offensive rebounds on the afternoon.

Arkansas’ offense came into Saturday’s matchup averaging over 80 points a game but managed just 52 in Knoxville. The Hogs shot just 37.7% from the field overall and 20.7% from beyond the arc.

The Hogs now return home to host No. 24 Ole Miss on Wednesday. No. 6 Florida visits Bud Walton Arena on Saturday.
