WATCH: Coach Deifel and Courtney Day recap day one of Wooo Pig Classic

Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – Coach Deifel and Courtney Day met with the media following No. 12 Arkansas’ first day of the Wooo Pig Classic.

The Hogs finished 2-0 on the day with wins over Iowa and Illinois. Arkansas won game one 9-0 in six innings over the Hawkeyes. Robyn Herron gave up just one hit in the victory.

The Hogs took down Illinois 12-4 in six innings in game two. Courtney Day finished with six RBI, including a walk-off grand slam to end the game.

Arkansas improves to 16-1 on the season and continues to improve on the best start in program history.

The Razorbacks take on Iowa at 3:00 pm and Illinois at 5:30 pm on Saturday. Both games can be streamed on SEC Network Plus.
