TULSA, Okla. — After only playing a limited role against UAPB on Thursday in the season opener redshirt junior wide receiver Jaedon Wilson has left the Razorbacks.
Wilson played in 22 games for Arkansas with four starts, all in 2023, catching 18 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns. In 2023, he caught15 passes for 199 yards and the two touchdowns.
With a new offensive coordinator and wide receiver’s coach Wilson had seem his playing time slashed. In the press conferences leading up to the season, Wilson was seldom mentioned when the coaches talked about the wide receivers. Last season, he scored the first touchdown of the year against Western Carolina when he took a screen pass 65 yards for six points following an outstanding block by Isaac TeSlaa to free him.
He announced his decision on social media on Friday. Click here for his post.
