AJ Green returning to Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE — AJ Green signed with Arkansas out of Tulsa Union in the Class of 2021 out of Tulsa (Okla.) Union, but left and is now returning for his final college season.
Green, 5-11, 205, was a four-star running back who chose the Hogs over Oklahoma and several other Power 5 schools. Green played three seasons for Arkansas. He entered the transfer portal and first announced he was transferring to Tulsa. He later changed his mind and ended up at Oklahoma State.
Green missed all the 2024 season with a lower body injury. At Arkansas he will begin classes on Monday. He will be a walk-on defensive back.
In three seasons with the Razorbacks, Green rushed 210 times for 1,001 yards and 6 touchdowns. He caught 19 passes for 184 yards and 1 touchdown.
In 2023, Green topped Arkansas in rushing with 67 carries for 312 yards and 2 touchdowns. His best season with the Razorbacks was actually was 2022 when he rushed for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns on 87 carries.
