All-America kicker Kyle Ramsey joins Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE — Former Abilene Christian kicker Kyle Ramsey has joined the University of Arkansas football team.

Ramsey, 6-2, 190, earned first-team FCS All-America honors in 2023 after previously playing at Houston. Ramsey, who is listed as a redshirt senior on the Arkansas roster, made 14-of-15 field goals in 2023 with a long of 55. He was perfect on field goals under 50 yards and also made one from 51 yards. He had one miss on 34 point after touchdowns.

He had 41 touchbacks on kickoffs and averaged 62.6 yards per kickoff. At Arkansas, he will compete with Hawaii senior transfer Matthew Shipley, redshirt senior Vito Calvaruso and freshman Charlie Von Der Meden.

Ramsey played high school football at Missouri City (Texas) Ridgepoint.
