Arkansas adds three new recruits on Wednesday

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has shocked the college football world by flipping two UCLA pledges and also adding a four-star wide receiver on the first day of the early signing period.

The Razorbacks landed Long Beach (Calif.) Poly four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava, 6-3, 200, and three-star wide receiver Jace Brown, 6-4, 200, along with Fort Bend (Texas) Marshall wide receiver Ja’kayden Ferguson, 6-2, 175.

Iamaleava is the younger brother of Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava. He chose the Hogs over UCLA, Tennessee, Oregon, Auburn, Colorado and several others. Brown chose the Hogs over UCLA, USC, Notre Dame and others.

Ferguson had a long list of offers, but recently decommitted from Kentucky. He had 24 offers and signed with the Hogs late Wednesday morning.

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central three-star wide receiver Kamare Williams, 6-1, 175, switched his commitment to Louisville.

Two commitments are set to make their decision known on Thursday. Atlanta (Texas) four-star running back Markeylin Batton, 5-11, 180, will sign with the Hogs on Thursday morning.

Osceola (Fla.) four-star offensive tackle Connor Howes, 6-6, 300, is set to choose between the Hogs and Ole Miss on Thursday. He has been committed to Arkansas for several months, but took a visit to Ole Miss this past weekend. Howes is expected to sign with Ole Miss on Thursday.
