FAYETTEVILLE — Ronnie Fouch is trying to work his Arkansas magic twice at West Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central with four-star wide receiver Waden Charles.

Fouch has already landed his teammate, four-star wide receiver Kamare Williams for the Class of 2025. Now, following a weekend official visit to Arkansas, Charles, 6-2, 185, could join him. Charles talked about how the visit went.

“The visit went amazing,” Charles said. “Arkansas put on a good showing for me and my brother. They showed me all the perks and all the good things they offer you.”

Williams committed to Arkansas on May 21. He chose them over a long list of other powerful schools such as Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Miami and LSU among many others. Does Williams choosing Arkansas impact Charles?

“It definitely influences me because me and him possibly want to play together in college,” Charles said. “We’ve been playing on the same team for a long time so we have great chemistry. So we have been thinking about South Florida and Arkansas.”

When you go away to college it’s nice to have someone you know at least initially it seems.

“Yes definitely helps to have someone you already know and get in the groove of things,” Charles said.

Charles talked about what he feels the Hogs will be getting if Arkansas is where he lands.

“I’m a versatile receiver,” Charles said. “I can do everything. I’ve got speed, great hands, run great routes, I’m strong and can block, aggressive and everything.”

In addition to Williams, if Charles ends up at Arkansas a lot of the credit should go to Fouch and Bobby Petrino.

“Coach Fouch is a great dude,” Charles said. “He just started recruiting me when he got to Arkansas. Ever since then he’s done a great job even just letting me know how I’ll be used. Showing me how I can fit into the offense.

Coach Petrino is just a mastermind on the offensive side. He definitely emphasized how I’ll be used in this offense. How he will involved me.”

On May 30, Charles decommitted from Miami. He holds 40 offers. He transferred into Palm Beach Central prior to his junior season. He’s rated the No. 12 wide receiver in the nation by 247Sports.
