Arkansas lands commitment from Izzy Higginbottom

FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – The Arkansas women’s basketball team landed a big commitment on Tuesday as Arkansas State’ Izzy Higginbottom announced she would be transferring to play for the Razorbacks.

Higginbottom averaged 22.2 points per game last season with the Red Wolves, which ranked her 8th nationally in scoring.

Saylor Poffenbarger enters the transfer portal

The Batesville native started her career at Missouri before playing the last two seasons for the Red Wolves.

The Hogs did lose two players to the transfer portal when it opened on Monday in Taliah Scott and Saylor Poffenbarger.
