FAYETTEVILLE — As it turns out, Maryland offensive lineman Marcus Dumervil has committed to Arkansas.

Dumervil was at Arkansas Friday and Saturday for an official visit. He said earlier Saturday he had one more official visit to take. But later he opted to become a Razorback and told Hogville why.

“It’s a place to come in and compete, play top-notch talent every week,” Dumervil said. “Big-time program, big-time school and big-time coaches.”

He formerly played at LSU and started against the Hogs in 2021. He said a chance to get back in the SEC also factored into his decision.
