Arkansas lands talented OT JacQawn McRoy

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has landed former Oregon four-star offensive tackle JacQawn McRoy from the transfer portal.

McRoy, 6-8, 375, committed to Arkansas on Thursday while on an official visit. McRoy is the first recruit to commit to the Hogs out of the transfer portal.

McRoy signed with Oregon in the Class of 2024 over Arkansas and several others. ESPN ranked him the No. 4 offensive tackle in the Class of 2024. He was rated No. 9 by 247Sports. ESPN rated him the No. 55 recruit in 2024. Rivals has him rated the No. 38 prospect in the current transfer portal.
