Arkansas men’s basketball earns nine seed at SEC Basketball Tournament in Nashville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following a 19-12, 8-10 regular season record for Arkansas men’s basketball, the Razorbacks are officially the nine seed in the 2025 SEC men’s basketball tournament in Nashville.
The Hogs will open their tournament run against No. 16 South Carolina on Wednesday, March 12 at noon C.T., in Bridgestone Arena.
The Hogs faced off against the South Carolina earlier this month in a game that saw Arkansas fall 72-53. As a team, the Hogs shot 3-22 from three point range and 15-52 from the floor. Collin Murray-Boyles lead the Gamecocks with 31 points in the win for South Carolina. The Hogs never led in the game.
Last season in Nashville, Arkansas went 1-1 defeating Vanderbilt in the first round before falling to the Gamecocks in game two.
