FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will begin four weeks of searching to fill a majority of the Class of 2025 high school portion of its recruiting class.

The Razorbacks will hoist 14 official visitors this weekend including one commitment. Mobile (Ala.) Williamson safety Taijh Overtton, 6-2, 190, will be among the prospects on campus. He committed to Arkansas on April 25.

The remainder of the group includes a trio committed elsewhere and 10 uncommitted prospects. The group includes six offensive linemen and two for defensive line. A tight end, some athletes who can play on either side of the ball, wide receiver, linebackers and defensive backs are also on the list.

The offensive linemen are Boerne (Texas) High’s Logan Schram (6-6, 317), Denton (Texas) Ryan’s Marcus Garcia (6-6, 270), Prosper (Texas) High’s Connor Carty (6-4, 290), Carthage (Texas) High’s Kash Courtney (6-4, 265), St. Cloud (Fla.) High’s Connor Hawes (6-6. 300) and American Park (Utah) Lone Peak’s Austin Pay, 6-6, 295.

Garcia and Carty are both committed to Texas A&M while Courtney is a Baylor pledge. When Courtney committed to Baylor Eric Mateos was the offensive line coach and now he’s at Arkansas.

Howes is a four-star offensive tackle who has four trips set. He will follow up the Arkansas visit with Rutgers, NC State and Ole Miss in consecutive weekends during June. He has good relationship with Mateos and is someone to watch.

Pay is highly recruited four-star from Utah. Arkansas is hoping to impress this weekend. He still have visits lined up to Oregon, NC State and Texas A&M the next three weekends.

Schram is a four-star recruit who is looking hard at Arkansas among others. He has also taken an official visit to Texas Tech in early May.

Arkansas is targeting Kansas City (Mo.) Oak Park tight end Drew Clemons (6-4 1/2, 215) who is a three-star tight end who has been picking up several offers recently. He has a trip to Utah next weekend. At this time it appears those are the only two official visits set, but he has numerous offers and options if he wants to take more visits.

The defensive linemen visiting are Hattiesburg (Miss.) four-star Kevin Oatis, 6-2, 285, and Denton (Texas) Guyer four-star Xavier Ukponu (6-3, 295). Oatis has USC (June 7) and Mississippi State lined up for June 22 later this month. Ukponu is exactly what Arkansas needs and would love to secure a pledge from him soon.

Jessup (Ga.) Wayne County four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace (6-1, 218) will announce his college decision July 15. He will follow up Arkansas with visits to his other favorites plus Florda. The ohter finalists among his Top 4 are Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia and LSU.

Frisco (Texas) Lone Star wide receiver Bryson Jones, 6-3, 180, will check out what the Hogs have to offer this weekend. Jones has Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Boston College and SMU on his list of possible schools. Ronnie Fouch has done a good job attracting wide receivers to Arkansas and Jones is certainly no exception.

Arkansas will also host Hitchcock (Texas) four-star wide receiver-athlete Keishaun Johnson, 5-11, 160. Johnson will be at Arkansas this weekend then will see Texas Tech or Texas A&M next weekend then finish up with Texas and then USC. He can play wide receiver or in the secondary wherever needed.

The Hogs will also be hosting Del Valle (Texas) safety-athlete Coleman Patmon, 6-2, 190. He has already seen Northwestern and Oklahoma State. As a junior, recorded 41 tackles, one for loss, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. He would be an outstanding addition for the Hogs.
