Arkansas Softball earns four seed in SEC Tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, A.R. (KNWA/KFTA) – Despite ending the regular season with a loss to Ole Miss on Saturday night, the Arkansas softball team earned the four seed in the 2024 SEC softball tournament.

In Courtney Deifel’s ninth season at the helm, the Hogs finished the year 36-15 (14-10), which will give them a double-bye to the quarterfinals on Thursday.

The Hogs will face the winner of fifth seeded Missouri and the winner of Ole Miss and Kentucky. Arkansas opens postseason play at 4p.m. on May 9 at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, A.L..
