FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas women’s basketball has been selected to the first-ever WBIT postseason tournament!

Mike Neighbors squad will head to Tulsa to take on the #3 seeded Hurricane. Angie Nelp’s team finished the 2023-2024 season with a 23-9 record. Tulsa is led by Tamira Poindexter who averaged 21.1 points per game, and Delanie Crawford who averaged 19.1 points.

Also in the Razorback’s quadrant are familiar foes #4 seed Illinois, who Arkansas defeated back in November, #1 seed Miami, and #2 seed Washington.

If Arkansas beats Tulsa, it could set up a matchup with the Huskies, the former team of Neighbors from 2013-2017.

The Hogs first round matchup is on March 21, however time of the Hogs game is to be determined.
