Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – According to multiple outlets, former Arkansas guard Boogie Fland is withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft. Fland entered his name into the transfer portal on April 22nd.

It was considered likely by many that Fland would remain in the NBA Draft. John Calipari took to X after Fland entered his name into the portal back in April.

“I fully expect that he is going to be a first round draft pick. I’ve coached players with his talent and know how they are doing in the NBA, he has ‘IT’,” Calipari wrote. “He also knows I will always be here for him.”

In one season with the Razorbacks, the guard averaged 13.5 points per game and 5.1 assists per game. Fland missed the majority of the SEC slate with an injury but returned for the NCAA Tournament in a limited role.

Currently 247Sports ranks Fland as the fifth-best player remaining in the transfer portal.

The Hogs continue to await the decision of Karter Knox who entered his name into the NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility. Knox is going through the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago this week.
