Colton Yarbrough remains solid to Hogs, set to make impact

FAYETTEVILLE — Durant (Okla.) 4-star edge Colton Yarbrough got to take his official visit to Arkansas this weekend.

Yarbrough, 6-6, 250, is the No. 1 recruit in Oklahoma in the Class of 2026. He committed to Arkansas on Aug. 3. How did the visit go?

“Good, it was great,” Yarbrough said.

Yarbrough has been to Arkansas numerous times for several years so there wasn’t any surprises for him on the visit.

“No, I’ve been here enough,” Yarbrough said of not seeing anything new.

Of the 10 official visitors, eight were already committed to Arkansas. Yarbrough talked about helping recruit one of the two uncommitted.

“Yes. I told JJ (Bush) we’ve got the D-line,” Yarbrough said. “Come at linebacker.”

Who was your host and what did he tell you about Arkansas?

“Charlie (Collins),” Yarbrough said. “He said it’s a great place and great people.”

Your 7-on-7 teammate and friend Adam Auston was also here. You guys committed to Arkansas the same day. Thoughts on him?

“He’s cool,” Yarbrough said. “I love him. He’s fast on his feet and really active.”
