FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has landed the University of Texas Permian Basin defensive lineman Frank Mulipola.

Mulipola, 6-4, 275, played in all 12 games, was third on the team with 51 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks. Also led the Falcons with seven quarterback hurries, added two pass breakups, and had one blocked kick. He talked about why Arkansas.

“It was what I was looking for, a good opportunity from the island and get a better chance at Arkansas to get drafted,” Mulipola said. “Looking forward to coming back and be a Razorback.”

Mulipola is anxious to get back to Arkansas for the 2025 season.

“I can see myself at the campus,” he said. “I haven’t seen a stadium like that. It was bigger than what I was thinking. It made me think this is the best for me. It makes me feel at home.”

Mulipola watched the NFL Draft and saw Landon Jackson go to Buffalo in the third round.

“That’s amazing man,” Mulipola said. “I feel like I could see myself on the stage.”

At Arkansas, Mulipola will play for Deke Adams.

“He’s given me some good advice,” he said. “How the game looks like and how the formations will look like How we’re going to rotate people on the inside? That’s what I was looking for. The coaches know how to coach their players and help their players out.”

Mulipola plans to major in criminal justice.

“If I don’t make it to the league, I will be a Swat and use my degree,” Mulipola said. “Be a police officer or a Swat.”

Mulipola is the second defensive lineman from the transfer portal to sign with the Hogs in this 10-day window.
