DB Isaiah Washington closing in on decision following UA visit

FAYETTEVILLE — Haynesville (La.) Class of 2026 defensive back Isaiah Washington was one of 10 recruits on official visits this weekend.

Washington, 6-1, 178, is a three-star recruit who has offers from LSU, Baylor, Texas Tech and others, has also took an official visit to Tulane. As far as the Arkansas visit, Stephens provided feedback.

“It’s at the top of my list,” Washington said. “All my people had fun. My brothers and sisters absolutely loved it. I love the people out here. The town is all about Arkansas Razorbacks and that’s what I love.”

Washington went into more detail about liking the Razorbacks.

“The way the players talk about the coaches,” Washington said. “They speak so highly about all of the coaches and the school. All the players have each other’s backs. Just a brotherhood with the players.”

Washington said he will announce his commitment on July 4.
