DT Tawfiq Thomas set for official visit to Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will host Louisville defensive tackle Tawfiq Thomas for an official visit beginning today.

Thomas, 6-4, 300, is a junior from Tampa (Fla.) Gaither High School. He has 12 tackles in two seasons at Louisville. He will join teammate, linebacker Jaylen Alderman, 6-1, 230, on the official visit.

Thomas plays an area of need for Arkansas in this class. They currently have no defensive tackles signed or committed. Thomas entered the transfer portal on April 22. Click here for his post on X when he opted for the transfer portal.

Arkansas currently has eight scholarships available. They have pledges from Florida State running back Rodney Hill, 5-10, 190, and Jacksonville State linebacker Larry Worth, 6-4, 220.
