Edge Keiundre Johnson commits to Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE — Terrell (Texas) Class of 2025 three-star edge Keiundre Johnson has committed to Arkansas.

Johnson, 6-4, 230, is the 12th commitment for the Class of 2025. In 2023, Johnson had 57 tackles, 40 solo, 18 for loss, 10.5 sacks, a quarterback hurry and two pass breakups. Johnson was Arkansas for an official visit this weekend. He talked about why Arkansas.

“The visit was amazing,” Johnson said. “It was way more than I expected, I loved it a lot. The relationship with Coach (Deke) Adams and Coach (Kelvin) Green. The players, I connected very well. I liked the people in Fayetteville.”

Johnson was hosted by freshman edge Charlie Collins. He talked about why he feels so comfortable with Adams, Arkansas’ defensive line coach.

“I like the way he uses ends on the edge,” Johnson said. “I like the way the defense is. He’s a great coach and he’s easy to connect with.”

The visit turned out so good for Johnson he was hesitant to choose just one aspect of it.

“Honestly, all of it,” Johnson said. “I just loved everything about it.”

Johnson chose Arkansas over SMU, Texas A&M, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss in addition to many other offers. On3 gives him a grade of 89, one point shy of four-stars, and rates him the No. 41 edge in nation and No. 51 prospect in Texas regardless of position.
