FAYETTEVILLE — Loganville (Ga.) Grayson three-star defensive tackle Cameron McGee visited Arkansas this weekend.

McGee, 6-3, 315, has strong interest in the Hogs. McGee provided feedback on how the visit went and what the highlight was.

“It was great,” McGee said. “I would say taking pictures, but the food was really good. Spending time with the players. Kavion Henderson, he’s a great player, great host.”

Henderson redshirted last season for Arkansas and is an edge on the defensive line. McGee talked about what Henderson had to say to him.

“He just told me that everything here, everything you see is what you get,” McGee said. “Nothing is sugarcoated. They’re real with you the whole time. It was a great experience. He kept it real. He told me how it was for him coming up. He has a choice to take what’s his. You have to earn everything here.”

If McGee inks with Arkansas he will play for Deke Adams.

“That would be great,” McGee said. “He’s a great D-line coach. When we were going over a few plays. He was just saying some of the same stuff I’m taught and do, are what they do here. He seems like a really good coach.”

Anything else about the visit jump out at you?

“Not really,” McGee said. “It was just an all around great trip. Loved talking to all the coaches, Coach (Sam) Pittman, all of them.”

Where does the Hogs stand now?

“Around the top,” McGee said. “I haven’t really made any big decisions. I’m down to two schools.”

McGee also talked about his timeline for a decision.

“Maybe after June,” McGee said. “That’s when I’m taking most of my official visits. I might take Georgia during the season.”

Georgia, Arkansas, Purdue and SMU?

“And a few others, maybe South Carolina, maybe Michigan,” McGee said.
