Hogs land huge Christmas gift, Courtney Crutchfield signs

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas’ Sam Pittman couldn’t have landed a better Christmas gift than the signature of former Pine Bluff and Missouri wide receiver Courtney Crutchfield.

Crutchfield, 6-2, 190, did as has been rumored for several weeks and even months returning home to play for the Razorbacks. He was committed to Arkansas in the Class of 2024 before opting to ink with the Tigers.

Crutchfield was a very high four-star recruit coming out of Pine Bluff. He’s an outstanding athlete as well helping his high school team to a state championship in hoops. He was also outstanding in track & field.

Crutchfield didn’t see much action at Missouri this season since he was on a team with several proven older wide receivers. He’s expected to be one of the key targets of Taylen Green and the quarterbacks at Arkansas this fall and in the future.
