Hogs set to host more official visitors

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is set for another big official visit weekend with nine recruits slated to arrive in Fayetteville today.

The recruiting group will include Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point three-star offensive lineman Hugh Smith, 6-5, 300, who committed to the Hogs on May 7.

All the visitors are from out of state. The group includes a running back, two offensive linemen, one wide receiver, a defensive lineman and four defensive backs.

Jaeden Hill, RB, 6-0, 220, Tupelo, Miss.

Committed to Mississippi State on June 24, 2024. As a junior, carried 208 times for 2,228 yards and 32 touchdowns. He also caught 15 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns.

Keymian Henderson Jr., WR, 6-3, 190, Carthage, Texas

Visiting TCU, Kentucky and Kansas State in addition to the Hogs. As a junior, caught 64 passes for 1,085 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Ben Mubenga, OL, 6-5, 280, Buford, Ga.

Talented player who some even project to play on defense. In addition to Arkansas, visiting Florida State, Georgia Tech and North Carolina State. Four-star offensive tackle.

Cameron McGee, DT, 6-4, 315, Loganville Grayson, Ga.

Deke Adams recruit. In addition to visiting Arkansas, has SMU and Purdue to see. In 2024 in four games, had three tackles, one for loss and a quarterback hurry.

Chaston Smith, CB, 6-2, 175, Chattanooga McCallie, Tenn.

Committed to Notre Dame on Dec. 1 and is a four-star recruit. Hogs hoping to flip him. Holds an incredible 37 offers.

Daylen Green, DB, 6-2, 210, Havana Gadsden County, Fla.

Big-time DB with 26 offers. Seems like this one may come down to Arkansas and Florida State. Played both sides of the ball as junior. Had 111 tackles on defense. On offense, grabbed nine passes for 153 yards and one touchdown.

This talented safety has 24 offers. In addition to the Hogs, visiting Clemson and Texas A&M. Big-time target for Razorbacks. Capable of playing Year 1.

Javonte Smith, CB, 6-1, 175, Jackson North Side, Tenn.

Arkansas getting a visit and fighting Missouri, Tennessee and West Virginia who are getting the other visits. Some schools prefer him as a wide receiver. On defense, had 21 tackles, 14 solo, five interceptions, three touchdowns and three pass breakups in 2024. On offense, caught 48 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns. Also rushed 26 times for 118 yards and a touchdown. Two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
