Green Bay, WI (KNWA/KFTA) – Former Arkansas wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Friday night.

The Michigan native gets drafted to the team he grew up cheering for. TeSlaa now joins a lethal Detroit offense led by quarterback Jared Goff. He’ll pair with the like of Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown in the wide receiving corps.

The Lions traded up with the Jaguars to pick 70 to select TeSlaa.

TeSlaa played a pivotal role for the Hogs on the outside during the last two seasons. The Hillsdale College transfer finished his Razorback career with 62 receptions for 896 yards and added five touchdowns.

TeSlaa turned heads at the NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis earlier this year. His relative athletic score of 9.93 ranked 29th among 3815 receivers who have participated since 1987.

The wide receivers journey to the NFL is a unique one. TeSlaa played quarterback in high school, made the transition to wide receiver at Division 2 Hillsdale, before transferring to Arkansas and playing in college football’s premier conference.
