FAYETTEVILLE — Jordan Young is one of the more versatile defensive backs in the transfer portal and he spent Tuesday and Wednesday officially visiting the Razorbacks.

Young, 6-0, 197, had 35 tackles, including 19 solo with 5 pass breakups in 2024. Young talked about how the visit went for him.

“I love the visit, love the coaching staff,” Young said. “Love the environment and the people. The city, I’m loving it.”

Since he liked the entire visit, was there a highlight that stood out to him?

“The highlight of my trip was pretty much the coaching staff from the head coach on down,” Young said. “Good people. I like the vision.”

Young had a good answer when asked if was being recruited as a cornerback?

“I’m going to be all over the secondary,” Young said.

Young said he’s feeling the love from the complete staff at Arkansas when asked who is recruiting him?

“Everybody,” Young said. “The whole defense, a lot of the defensive staff has been in constant contact. That’s a blessing.”

Young isn’t sure about additional visits as he narrows in on a decision.

“I visited Kansas before,” Young said. “Afterwards, I don’t know, it’s up in the air.”

What are the chances you sign with the Razorbacks and don’t take other visits?

“They definitely made a good impression on me,” Young said. “We’ve got to talk as a family on my next decision, but I love it here.”

Arkansas currently has signed six recruits from the transfer portal.
