FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is searching for defensive linemen and hosted a pair of teammates from East Mississippi Community College over the weekend for official visits.

Both Zavion Hardy, 6-5, 262, and Rashod Bradley, 6-4, 255, were at Arkansas. They were among the 10 official visitors. Hardy played in 12 games last season. He finished with 24 tackles, 13 solo, four for loss and 3.5 sacks.

“It went good for my first time on a visit,” Hardy said. “The environment and the coaches, the bond the coaches were showing. It was real love.”

Bradley played in 10 games last fall. He had 13 tackles, five solo, 1.5 for loss and a sack. Bradley also talked about how the visit went.

“First off the people there are great genuine people, also their facilities and nutrition,” Bradley said. “The city reminds me of back where I stay and the food is great.”

Bradley was very appreciative of the Razorbacks bringing him in for an official visit.

“Arkansas is gonna always have a chance since they took a chance on me,” Bradley said. “So there wasn’t really a boost or nothing, they just made it more comfortable for me to be far from home and that I was gonna be in good hands.”

Hardy said Deke Adams is recruiting him to play both inside and out at end.

“It’s a real good relationship because my junior college coach does things, [Adams] does it too,” said Hardy, who was hosted by defensive tackle Cam Ball. “It felt like I was with my coach again. Really.”

Hardy has official visits set for Mississippi State and South Carolina for the next couple of weeks. He said he plans to announce his decision on his birthday Nov. 29. Hardy said if he chooses Arkansas it will likely be because of Adams.

“Because of how cool I am with the coach,” Hardy said . “That goes a long ways.”
