Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – Texas Tech transfer Kailey Wyckoff is poised to star in several spots for Arkansas softball in 2025.
The utility player brings a host of accolades from Lubbock to Fayetteville. The junior was the 2023 Big 12 Freshman of the Year and made the All-Big 12 First Team in 2024.
Perhaps most impressive is Wyckoff’s versatility. The junior made nine or more starts at five different positions during her time with the Red Raiders. She expects to continue to feature all over the field for the Hogs in 2025.
“I think there is going to be different moments where the team’s going to need me and I’m ready for anything,” Wyckoff said.
Wyckoff was ranked eighth in Softball America’s top 100 transfers. She had her choice of schools but Coach Deifel closed the deal for the Razorbacks.
“I felt like we were best friends from the start, she was just so welcoming and all the coaches were so welcoming,” Wyckoff said. “On my visit everything just seemingly went perfect for me so I just knew I needed to be here.”
