FAYETTEVILLE — Coffeyville (Kan.) Field Kindley Class of 2025 four-star offensive lineman Keiton Jones is down to three schools.

Jones, 6-4, 315, took an official visit to Arkansas this weekend. The highly-recruited Jones liked what he saw on the visit.

“It was good,” Jones said. “I had a lot of fun with the players, talking to them and getting to know them. Then having a sit-down with Coach (Sam) Pittman was real good. I learned a lot of stuff about the whole program than when I came on my unofficials and I couldn’t ask questions. I mean, I could, I just didn’t know the questions at the time. My questions got answered.”

Jones has been to Missouri and now Arkansas. He has one more official visit remaining.

“I’ve got K-State next weekend and then I’m done,” Jones said.

Where did the visit to Arkansas put them?

“I think it’s a pretty good school, culture-wise and stuff like that.” Jones said. “I’ll be making my decision probably soon after my official visits are done. We’ll see where it takes me.”

Jones talked about the highlight of the visit and what stood out to most about the trip to Fayetteville.

“I think at the photo shoot yesterday, before all of that, me and Coach Pittman had a really good talk,” Jones said. “Kind of heart-to-heart about a lot of things, that stood out to me a lot.”

Eric Mateos coaches the offensive line. Mateos has made a good impression on Jones throughout the process.

“I’ve known him since I first came on my unofficial, we had a good time talking, kept talking during the whole process,” Jones said. “That means a lot to me. A lot of coaches offer me and then stop talking to me, so I think him staying and talking to me a lot helps me a lot with my recruiting, too.”

Jones is a four-star recruit with On3. They rank him the No. 222 recruit in the country, No. 13 interior offensive lineman nationally and No. 5 recruit in Kansas in 2025.
