Key numbers from Arkansas’ 35-14 win over Louisiana Tech

FAYETTEVILLE — The last home game for the Razorbacks would be against the Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech. Louisiana Tech came into the game with a 4-6 record. Their record was somewhat deceptive because they had lost three games in overtime. 

In their 6 losses, they were outscored by 36 total points. They could have a record of 9-1 if a few breaks had gone their way. Actually, the one team that beat the Bulldogs by more than one score was North Carolina State, but Tech had the Wolfpack done 17-6 at halftime. That was before the Hogs handed them a 35-14 loss.

1– The Bulldogs had one turnover for the game.

2– Both, Arkansas And Louisiana Tech had only (2) first downs in the first quarter.

3– The Razorbacks had 3 turnovers for the game and for the first time this year won the game when having more turnovers than the opponent.
