Kickoff times set for OSU, UAB football games

FAYETTEVILLE — The kickoff times are set for Arkansas’ first three games are now set.

It was previously announced the Razorbacks will open the season on Thursday. Aug. 29 against UAPB at 6:30 p.m. in Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium on ESPNU.

On Thursday, it was found out that Arkansas’ game at Oklahoma State on Saturday, Sept. 7, the kickoff will be at 11 a.m. and televised on ABC. The two teams meet for the first time since 1980. The Hogs own a 30-15-1 record against the Pokes all time in a series dating back to 1912. Arkansas will appear in a game broadcast on ABC for the first time since 2014 when the Razorbacks won 49-28 at Texas Tech.

The first Fayetteville game will be Saturday, Sept. 14, at 3:15 p.m. against UAB and televised on the SEC Network. The UAB Blazers make their first trip to Fayetteville since 2014. The Hogs have played only one game against UAB, a 45-17 Homecoming victory.

Arkansas hosts six games inside Razorback Stadium this fall with games against UAB, Tennessee (Oct. 5), LSU (Oct. 19), Ole Miss (Nov. 2), Texas (Nov. 16) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 23).
