FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Razorback head basketball coach John Calipari made a major announcement Saturday while many fans were focused on the football game vs. Texas.

Springdale High School basketball star, Isaiah Sealy has signed his national letter of intent to join Calipari’s squad next season.

Sealy, a consensus 4-star recruit in the class of 2025, chose Arkansas over California, Ole Miss, and Boston College among others.

He joins five-star prospects Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas as the third member of Calipari’s 2025 signing class.

Calipari said he was just moving headquarters when he left Kentucky for Arkansas, something his 5-star recruiting success as Head Hog has backed up

The Springdale native is considered the top overall high school player in the natural state according to 247 Sports. Sealy is averaging 17 points per game early in the season as the Springdale Bulldogs have started 2-0 so far.

As a junior, Sealy was first team All-State and All-Conference while averaging more than 28 points and 8 boards per contest. As a sophomore, Sealy led the Bulldogs to a state runner-up finish while scoring 17 points and pulling down 7 rebounds a game.
