FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is set to host nine official visitors this weekend for the Class of 2026.
Arkansas will host three recruits who are already committed to the Hogs and six others they would like to add to the fold. The Hogs are hosting a quarterback, one running back, two wide receivers, three offensive linemen, a cornerback and linebacker. Arkansas currently has 14 commitments for the Class of 2026.
At wide receiver, the son of former Arkansas defensive back Marcus Campbell and former track and field All-American Deedee Brown-Campbell is among the visitors. Wolfforth (Texas) Frenship four-star wide receiver Chase Campbell, 6-2, 180, is among the top prospects regardless of position in Texas.
As a junior, Campbell did a little of everything on offense for Frenship. He caught 81 passes for 1,497 yards and 18 touchdowns. He completed 3 of 6 passes for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Campbell also rushed 38 times for 314 yards and six touchdowns. Campbell has a busy schedule in June. Arkansas is his first official visit. He also will visit Tennessee, North Carolina, Utah, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor and Kansas State all in June.

Arkansas doesn’t have a running back committed in the Class of 2026 at this time. They hope that changes with Orangeburg-Wilkinson (S.C.) standout athlete Jordan Avinger, 6-2, 225, coming to Fayetteville for the visit. Avinger is a versatile athlete that some schools like at running back while others see him as a linebacker.
His stats as of nine games in 2024, Avinger rushed 56 times for 869 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also caught 11 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Avinger had 50 tackles, including 39 solo, six tackles for loss and one forced fumble. He also has official visits set to East Carolina and USF. He is set to release a Top 5 later on Wednesday.

The speedy Gordon had a very good 2024 junior season. Gordon finished with 141 tackles, 49 solo, eight for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, a pair of fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
