FAYETTEVILLE — Little Rock Christian Class of 2024 linebacker Preston Davis has committed to continue his football career at Arkansas.

Davis, 5-11, 215, committed to the Razorbacks on Saturday. Marcus Woodson had extended a preferred walk-on offer to him on Jan. 26. He announced his decision on X. He also talked to Hogville and Pig Trail Nation about his decision. In addition to Woodson, Travis Williams and Jake Trump also played a role in his recruiting.

“Well, first off, I’m blessed to have any of these opportunities,” Davis said. “I chose Arkansas mainly because of the coaches. Including Coach T Will, Coach Trump, and Coach Woodson, they’re the main defensive coaches I’ve talked to at Arkansas. They’re all genuine guys who I believe I could learn a lot from, not just as a player but as a man. Coach T Will, especially, he’s an energetic guy who is unashamed about his faith in Jesus which is really important to me.”

As a senior, Davis had 112 tackles, six for loss, two sacks, one interception, a forced fumble and a single recovery.

He chose Arkansas over Arkansas State, Ouachita Baptist and Harding.
