The Olympic track is purple for the first time ever. Here’s why

The all-Southeastern Conference quartet timed 3:07.41, smashing the previous best of 3:08.80 set when the United States won world gold in Budapest at the World Championships.

Brown completed the relay with an individual time of 49.45, 0.04 seconds off her personal best. The quartet finished nearly three seconds behind France, according to World Athletics.

She is one of more than 30 Arkansas-affiliated athletes competing in track & field events in the Paris Olympics. Little also trains in Fayetteville.
